Twitter pranksters flood pro
Nothing hits back at a bad-faith effort to overturn the result of the U.S. presidential election like pancakes.
Scores of willfully misinformed Donald Trump supporters across the country gathered Saturday to spout conspiracy theories about nonexistent widespread voter fraud. And, unlike other gatherings of Trump supporters doing this exact same thing, this one got a special hashtag — a fact that didn't go unnoticed by thousands of people now flooding #MillionMAGAMarch with pictures of delicious breakfast treats.
The effort appears to have been kicked off by Shea Depmore, who on Nov. 11 launched a campaign of digital mischief aimed at the pro-Trump event. In a tweet of her TikTok (sigh), and accompanying website, she explained the idea.
"Make yourself some pancakes, find a good stock-photo, or a Kpop star eating pancakes, and flood the hashtag #MillionMAGAMarch with syrupy goodness on Saturday," she wrote.

It appears that the internet listened.
A tour of #MillionMAGAMarch on Twitter shows people advocating for the rejection of democracy, yes, but also syrup and pancakes.

It's not quite turning lemons into lemonade, but flipping an attempted coup into breakfast inspiration isn't too bad.
Either way, president-elect Joe Biden will sworn into office on Jan. 20, 2020. Until then, enjoy the brunch and keep fighting for democracy.
