Apple might announce new MacBooks at WWDC
It sounds like Apple is ready to launch the next wave of MacBooks, but maybe temper your expectations a bit.
Rumors are predictably swirling around about Apple's next big event, which is the annual Worldwide Developer Conference (or WWDC), starting on June 5. According to Bloomberg's Mark Gurman, we'll see no fewer than three new MacBooks at the event: A 15-inch MacBook Air, a new 13-inch MacBook Air, and a new 13-inch MacBook Pro.

They'll instead use something closer to the M2 in power and will be updated in other, unspecified ways.
It's hard to glean what else is new about these MacBooks so far, but it's worth mentioning that there isn't yet a 15-inch M2 MacBook Air. There is already a really great 13-inch model as well as a 13-inch Pro, but apparently Apple feels those need updating, too. We'll just have to wait and see.

As it stands, it's tough to imagine a few new MacBooks taking up that much time in a show that's said to also include a swanky new mixed reality headset, but Apple always finds ways to surprise us.
